Travelling the world, cathy style!

Got back to sydney this morning. It's good to be home!

key things i learned on this trip

1. Aussies are EVERYWHERE! Every city i go, there's more aussies than any other race of backpackers added together. Not sure if it's just this time of year, of if we are just a crazy travelling nation. But we are literaly, everywhere!

2. No-one likes americans We joke around about crappy americans at home, but i had no idea JUSt how much the rest of the world hates them! Canandians all travel with a canadian flag patched onto their backpacks so that they don't get mistaken by americans. And americans travel with a canadian flag on their backpacks and pretend to be canadians! It's crazy!

3. Pack light. (enuff said)

4. Meeting people is the best fun!

So three days until i leave the country. Still running around like a headless chicken getting things ready. Camera; CHECK! Backpack; CHECK! Thermals; CHECK! Passport; CHECK! Tickets; CHECK! Walking shoes; CHECK! Bought this super hard-core pair of walking shoes from Mountain Designs. Gor-tex, and swiss made, they will probably last longer than me!

Still need to pick up a few last minute items, but thanks heaps to robyn i've got a backpack, which is probably one of the most important things.

Let's hope this blog will help me keep track of where i am and what i'm doing. Will keep all you guys as updated as i possibly can. Here's to a fantastic trip!
